Yes. We engineer offline-first systems that keep critical workflows available locally, preserve changes in durable queues, and synchronize safely when connectivity returns. This is especially valuable for multi-branch and field operations.

04Can Lix modernize an existing system?

Yes. We can assess the current platform, isolate high-value workflows, improve reliability, introduce AI behind controlled tools, and modernize incrementally. A full replacement is not the default assumption.

05How does a project begin?

We start with the business outcome: what should improve, who is involved, which systems and data already exist, what can go wrong, and what evidence will define success. Product scope and architecture follow from that operational model.

06Can a Lix engagement run fully remotely?

Yes. Lix is built to deliver discovery, architecture, engineering, reviews, launch, and support remotely through focused workshops, clear documentation, and explicit decision channels. On-site work can be arranged when it materially improves the outcome, but it is not a requirement for effective collaboration.

07How do you make AI systems safe and reliable?

We combine scoped tools, explicit permissions, policy checks, approval gates for sensitive actions, complete traces, outcome verification, production evaluation, and recoverable failure paths. The model is one component of a controlled system.

Custom software cost depends on the operating scope, users, integrations, data, security, reliability, AI, offline requirements, and delivery stages. Lix defines a practical scope and investment range after discovery.

12How do we know whether a workflow actually needs AI?

AI is useful when the operation depends on interpreting language, documents, images, changing context, or decisions that rigid rules cannot express well. Predictable steps should remain deterministic. Lix can combine both so intelligence is used only where it creates measurable value.

13Can Lix connect a new platform to our ERP, POS, CRM, or accounting tools?

Yes. Lix maps the systems, data ownership, APIs, events, permissions, and failure modes before designing the integration. When a legacy product has no reliable API, we can use controlled adapters, imports, exports, or synchronization workflows without pretending the constraint does not exist.

14Can an AI agent take action without human approval?

Only where the risk justifies it. Routine, reversible actions can run automatically inside explicit rules. Financial, destructive, sensitive, or exceptional actions can require approval. Every tool call can be scoped, logged, checked, and verified against the intended outcome.

15What happens when the internet or an external API fails?

Resilient systems plan for failure before launch. Depending on the operation, Lix can use local continuity, durable queues, idempotent retries, reconciliation rules, degraded modes, and operational alerts so a temporary dependency failure does not become a business outage.

16Which business operation should we improve first?

Start with an operation that is frequent, measurable, slowed by handoffs or errors, supported by usable data, and bounded enough to improve safely. Discovery ranks candidates by business value, feasibility, risk, and the clarity of the success signal.

17How is Lix different from a conventional software house?

Many projects begin with screens and feature lists. Lix begins with the operating outcome, then engineers the data, decisions, tools, permissions, recovery paths, and evidence as one system. The interface serves the operation instead of becoming the whole product.
